Breast Cancer Awareness Ribbon Fundraiser
October 2020
During October 2020, our organization collaborated with the UIC Department of Orthodontics to honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Our members established a donation stand and sold pink ribbons to fundraise towards The H Foundation. In addition, the Ortho Department sported pink PPE and made a donation for every patient who opted to wear pink o-rings. This has been their longstanding, six-year tradition in honor of alumnus, John Polivka's, mother. One hundred percent of the proceeds to The H Foundation are donated directly to the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University to breast cancer research.
